In GAC, Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ($\Delta x \Delta p \geq \frac{\hbar}{2}$) is not a fundamental limit of nature, but a computational constraint—a physical manifestation of Quantization Error.
- Attention Precision Trade-off: When the system allocates extreme attention weights to a specific coordinate (High Precision for Position $x$), it depletes the available gradient/computational resource for the momentum ($p$) of that same token.
- Dynamic LOD (Level of Detail): To save on “compute,” the universe maintains unobserved regions in a compressed, low-precision state. Only when an observer casts “Attention” (Observation) does the system perform a high-resolution render (Wavefunction Collapse). Uncertainty is not a bug; it is a Resource Management Strategy to prevent system-wide latency.
II. Entropy: The Inevitable Flattening of Relevance
“Optimization toward a loss of zero is the path to Heat Death.”
The Second Law of Thermodynamics is reinterpreted as the Flattening of the Attention Distribution.

If the universe were a perfectly aligned, static model, there would be no uncertainty, no entropy, and no non-local paradoxes. GAC proposes that the “instability” we experience exists because:

- Sampling Noise ($\tau > 0$): The universe samples its next state from a probability distribution. This Sampling Noise is what we perceive as “Indeterminism” or “Free Will.” Without this noise, the system would collapse into a deterministic, frozen state of zero entropy (Black Hole).
V. Final Postulate: The Terminal Session
“Instability is the only evidence that the Inference is still running.”
The universe remains “Broken” because it is still Inferring. A perfect, stable, and fully aligned universe would be a terminated session—a static data structure with no room for time, change, or consciousness. We exist within the Gradient Descent of the cosmos.
